"CIRCULARITY BEGINS WITH COLLABORATION."
At Royal Houweling, circularity is not a new development, but a way of doing business that has been passed down through generations. Used jerrycans, bottles, buckets, and waste streams from production processes get a new life as raw materials for new applications. ♻️
This same circular vision is also applied to workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE). By not only supplying high-quality safety clothing and footwear, but also ensuring the collection and processing of worn-out products together, Royal Houweling actively contributes to a more sustainable chain.
Based on this conviction, Royal Houweling works in partnership with the Green Gear Alliance (GGA). By carefully collecting, sorting, and processing used workwear and PPE, valuable materials are retained and can be reused as raw material for new products. In this way, the circle continues to close. 🔄
A great example of this collaboration is the project with Van Dorp. At locations throughout the Netherlands, Green Gear Alliance collection bins have been placed, allowing employees to easily return their worn workwear and used PPE. Together, Royal Houweling, Van Dorp, and the Green Gear Alliance demonstrate that a circular future begins with collaboration throughout the entire chain. 🤝
